Meals During School Closure

Daily Pick Up

Dear Parents / Guardians,

Joplin Schools Food and Nutrition Services will be providing a “Grab and Go” Curbside Meal pick up service during the COVID-19 closures beginning Monday March 23rd.  Meals will be provided on a first come, first serve basis at all school sites from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and Drop-Off locations .  All meals will be standard meals with some perishable foods. Families are responsible to monitor perishable food for safety. Meals can be picked up at ALL Joplin Schools locations through the car rider drop off/pick up line Monday through Friday.  Children must be present in order to receive a meal.  This method will allow us to provide two meals (lunch and breakfast for the next day) per day to children so that parents don’t have to come to one of our locations twice in the same day.  Any PK-12 student is eligible to receive meals at “No Charge”.

Please complete the Meal Request Form to help us better plan on the number of meals needed each day.  Please enter your name and the number of children that you’ll be bringing and which site you wish to pick up meals.  If you wish to be removed from the list at a later date, please contact us at Nutrition Services at 417-625-5315.
