Overview

McKinley Elementary was built in 1955, and is on par with Jefferson Elementary as one of the district’s oldest campuses still serving students and staff. Additions were constructed in 1985 and 2008, and the Community Safe Room/Gymnasium was added in 2014. Students from Kindergarten through 5^th grades attend McKinley Elementary. The Long Range Facility Committee notes that square footage per classroom and program currently falls well below state standard recommendations.
