Current Volunteer Opportunities

School volunteers assist with a number of needs in any school building in the district. These jobs may include PTO helpers, carnival volunteers, classroom volunteers, party volunteers, field trip volunteers, Booster Club volunteers, and more. Lunch PALS (Positive Adults Lunching with Students) is a 20-minute commitment once a week to sit down at school lunch with a student who could use a relationship with a trustworthy, dependable adult. A background check is required.

If your business or organization would like to partner directly with a particular school to find sustainable ways to support that school’s students and staff, please contact the school principal directly and ask to join their Site Council. These partnerships are a great way to get involved with volunteer opportunites, teacher celebrations, and student needs. For more information, please contact Bright Futures Joplin.
