When the bond election is approved, Joplin Schools will present monthly project updates and real-time budget expenditure reports during Board of Education meetings. This information will also be shared at Superintendent Focus Group events, on district social media updates, in local media, and in various locations on the district website including the bond pages, finance pages, and news pages.

The district also undergoes an annual audit in which the district's finances are deeply reviewed. Recent audits have highlighted fiscal responsiblity, excellent record-keeping practices, and good stewardship of public funds. Audit reports can be viewed any time on our Finance webpage.
