The Nutrition Services team for Joplin Schools, proudly represented by more than 100 dedicated professionals, provides high-quality, nutritionally-balanced, and affordable breakfasts and lunches to more than 7,800 students daily across our district. In addition to the National School Lunch and Breakfast programs, our services also include an after-school supper program and a summer school feeding program. 

All Joplin Schools families, regardless of income, should complete a Free & Reduced Meal Application each August. These completed applications are vital to our district’s ability to provide adequate resources district-wide, whether or not your family qualifies for Free & Reduced Meals.

Nondiscrimination Statement

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
