We look forward to welcoming our littlest Eagles into the nest this year!

Families must reside within the Joplin Schools district or be a district employee to register a child for Joplin Early Childhood or Little Eagles Flight School. The Enrollment Interest Form linked below is for all Joplin Schools preschool programs, including:

• Joplin Early Childhood: half-day preschool classes and half-day employee childcare classes for eligible 3-year-old and 4-year-old students, offered at Joplin Early Childhood.
• Little Eagles Flight School: full-day preschool classes for eligible 4-year-old students, offered at Joplin Early Childhood and in some district elementary buildings. Children MUST be 4 years old and potty trained by July 31 to be considered for Flight School.

Please complete a separate Enrollment Interest Form for EACH child in your family who is eligible to attend one of the preschool programs. This is NOT an enrollment form, as it only serves to assist us as we place students into programs of preference. 

• If your child is currently enrolled at JEC they are not required to have a preschool screening. 
• New students will be sent an email with instructions to schedule a preschool screening. This must be completed in order to be considered for a preschool placement for the 2026-2027 school year.

 A JEC staff member will contact families to be enrolled or placed on a waiting list as space allows. Official enrollment notice for full day preschools will be sent to parents by May 1, 2026.
