Thank you for your interest in sharing information with our families and students! Starting July 1, 2024, hard-copy community flyers will not be distributed to our students or families. All non-profit organizations wishing to provide flyers to our students and families are welcome to submit digital flyers through the process below. Families will receive periodic reminders through ParentSquare and on social media posts to check the digital flyers on the Joplin Schools Community Bulletin Board.

Before submitting a digital flyer for placement on the Community Bulletin Board, please read and understand the guidelines below.

1. Hard-copy flyers from outside organizations will NOT be accepted or distributed at any Joplin Schools campus.
2. Outside flyers for digital distribution will be accepted from non-profit organizations; must be targeted toward school-aged children or parents of school-aged children; and will be posted only in this space for a period of up to 60 days.
3. All digital flyers must  prominently feature the following statement: “The information included in this flyer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Joplin Schools.”
4. The following organizations that are formed for the direct benefit of Joplin Schools students, families, and staff may still distribute hard-copy flyers as needed: school PTO/PTA groups, Joplin Schools Foundation, Joplin Schools Booster Clubs, Bright Futures Joplin. The following organizations that are formed for the direct benefit of Joplin Schools students, families, and programs may distribute direct-digital (ie: ParentSquare, etc.) flyers as needed: Joplin Youth Basketball Association, Joplin Youth Cheer Association, Joplin Youth Football Association, Joplin Youth Wrestling Association.
5. The district will periodically send ParentSquare or social media reminders for families to check the bulletin board for new postings. We cannot guarantee these reminders will be timed to coincide with your flyer’s deadlines.
6. All information included in the flyers must be directed toward Joplin Schools students and/or families, and must not violate any Joplin Schools Board of Education advertising policies.
7. Any businesses wishing to provide flyers or special offers for staff members must contact GinaLangston@JoplinSchools.org in the Community Development Office. All flyers sent to Joplin Schools staff must be marketed specifically to Joplin Schools staff alone (not “area teachers” or “local families”) and must not violate any Joplin Schools Board of Education advertising policies. 
8. Businesses wishing to be promoted within Joplin Schools are encouraged to learn more about our Advertising and Sponsorship opportunities.
