Support students in need at the Bright Futures Joplin Guns & Hoses Basketball Game

It’s time again for the annual Guns & Hoses benefit basketball game! Funds from this event support the work of Bright Futures Joplin’s efforts to ensure every student in Joplin Schools has what they need to succeed.
The game will start at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Kaminsky Gym in Joplin High School. It features volunteer competitors from the Joplin Police Department vs. the Joplin Fire Department, and they take the game very seriously! It’s a fun way to spend an evening rooting for your favorite hometown heroes while making sure all Joplin students have enough food, clothing, and school supplies.
Tickets are $5 at the door, and kids of all ages can attend for free. There will be concessions, a $500 half-court shot contest, silent auction, time-out games and more.
We appreciate the work of Bright Futures Joplin, and the sponsors who make this game possible: Roper KIA, MSSU, Missouri Foundation for Health, Cornerstone Wealth Management, SMB, The Giving Branch, Mercy, Michael & Jeri Lynn Joseph, and many more.
We hope to see you all at the game!
